CIM Group today unveiled Panorama Brooklyn Studios, bringing a new production studio environment featuring approximately 90,000 square feet of studio, production office and support space and the opportunity to secure additional floors for production, to the market in a picturesque Brooklyn waterfront location. Panorama Brooklyn Studios is located on several floors of the 12-story 25 Columbia Heights building, and identified with new high-profile signage at Panorama, which comprises five interconnected 1930s and 1940s era buildings spanning two city blocks between the DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights neighborhoods.
“Panorama’s vast open floors, ample space for ancillary office and support needs as well as outdoor filming spots are ideally suited to film and television productions,” said Shaul Kuba, Co-Founder and Principal, CIM Group.
Panorama has been the site of numerous streaming, television and film productions over the past several years, prior to the studio formation.
Panorama Brooklyn Studios features a Level 1 Qualified Production Facility, under the New York State film tax incentive program, a sought-after designation by film and television productions choosing a New York location. The approximately 7,000-square-foot studio is listed on the state’s sound stage registry. With approximately 30,000 square feet available for production staff, dressing rooms, wardrobe, hair and makeup, a large freight elevator and loading space, as well as ample on-site parking, Panorama Brooklyn Studios offers a compelling package.
CIM Group is also creating an approximately 7,000-square-foot Level 2 studio, in compliance with New York state criteria. It will be a column-free space, with ample clear-height, a permanent grid, and soundproof rating of NC30 or better. With ample additional production and support space of more than 30,000 square feet, and the studio’s other attributes, it will offer a specially tailored production space.
Panorama Brooklyn Studios also provides exceptional exterior filming spots such as a large rooftop that offers expansive views including the Brooklyn Bridge, East River and lower Manhattan skyline. Its lush gardens and park-like areas as well as the exteriors of the buildings that include 1930s era brick clad facades and 1940s industrial-style architecture, offer productions a host of backdrops and filming opportunities.
CIM Group has engaged Backlot to market Panorama Brooklyn Studios to the film and media marketplace.
For more than a decade, CIM Group has been an active owner and developer in the New York metropolitan area including the prominent Front & York residential and retail property in Brooklyn.
